The Tsukuba Organic Farmers Market
Market Overview
The Tsukuba Organic Farmers Market is a thriving local initiative, established on November 25, 2018.
We gather every week on Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) at Grand Stage Yamashin Tsukuba. Farmers primarily from the Southern Ibaraki region sell their produce directly to the public.
Our defining characteristic is our commitment to pure, wholesome food:

All vegetables, rice, fruits, and herbs are grown entirely without pesticides.

We also stock quality condiments that are free from chemical additives.
Our stalls are brightly laden with a lively array of seasonal produce, offering not only traditional Japanese vegetables but also unusual, fresh varieties native to Europe and Asia—items you often won't find in regular Japanese supermarkets.

Our Vendors' Unique Approach to Cultivation
All of our market vendors specialise in ingredients grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
Our farmers employ diverse, sustainable methods:
